...The National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Maquoketa River at Manchester Hwy 20 affecting Delaware and Jones
  Counties.

.Heavy rainfall is predicted for the Maquoketa River headwaters area
over the next 24 hours. If this forecasted precipitation falls,
elevated river levels, including minor flooding is likely.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

The next statement will be issued by Wednesday morning at 1130 AM
CDT.

...REPLACES RIVER FLOOD WATCH...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecasted due to heavy rainfall
  forecasts in the next 24 hours.

* WHERE...Maquoketa River at Manchester Hwy 20.

* WHEN...From this evening to tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Water affects West Main Street. Water also
  affects residences on the south side of town.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 5.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening to a crest of 15.0 feet tomorrow morning.
    It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
