...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...
Illinois...

  Mississippi River at Burlington affecting Hancock, Lee, Des
  Moines and Henderson Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued by Thursday afternoon at 1215 PM
CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Burlington.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, Water is over the bank south of the
  Burlington auditorium. Water also reaches the base of Old Fort
  Madison.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 15.4 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river continues to rise.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 18.6 feet
    Wednesday, July 03. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
