...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Cedar River at Cedar Rapids affecting Linn County.

  Cedar River at Palo Blairs Ferry Rd affecting Linn County.

  Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County.

  Cedar River at Cedar Bluff affecting Cedar, Johnson and Muscatine
  Counties.

  Cedar River near Conesville affecting Louisa and Muscatine
  Counties.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued by Sunday morning at 900 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...At 13.5 feet, Water affects the lowest sections of Palo.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 13.7 feet and falling.
  - River has crested early this morning.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 8.2 feet
    Saturday, July 06.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Portions of Linn Drive in Palo are
  affected by flood waters.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 13.2 feet.
  - The river crested Friday evening.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 8.9 feet
    Saturday, July 06.
  - Flood stage is 12.5 feet.

EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Wapello.

* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon to late Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Minor Flood Stage. Agricultural land near
  the river is flooded and water covers most islands. Water starts
  rising onto secondary roads in Wapello Bottoms.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 21.7 feet Monday morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage Tuesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

  Several county roads are under water and closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 9.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 12.7
    feet Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

  - At 9:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 16.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 17.0 feet tomorrow morning.
    It will then fall below flood stage late Monday morning to
    14.7 feet early Wednesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 13.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.9
    feet tomorrow evening.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
