...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Cedar River AT Palo Blairs Ferry Rd affecting Linn County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued by Sunday morning at 900 AM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TOMORROW MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cedar River at Palo Blairs Ferry Rd.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 12.5 feet, Minor Flood Stage. The Chain Lakes area is
  affected by flood waters.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.7 feet.
  - The river crested Friday evening.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 8.4 feet
    Saturday, July 06.
  - Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
