...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flash Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following areas,
  Hancock, Henderson, Henry IL, McDonough, Mercer, Rock Island,
  Warren and Whiteside, Iowa, including the following areas, Benton,
  Buchanan, Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Des Moines, Dubuque, Henry IA,
  Iowa, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Jones, Keokuk, Lee, Linn,
  Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren and Washington, and northeast
  Missouri, including the following areas, Clark and Scotland.

* WHEN...From this afternoon through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flash
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flash flooding develop.
