...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Cedar River at Cedar Falls affecting Black Hawk County.

  Shell Rock River at Shell Rock affecting Black Hawk, Butler and
  Bremer Counties.

.These forecasts are conditional and dependent on rainfall amounts
across portions of northern and central Iowa through 7 AM Wednesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

River forecasts include observed precipitation plus forecast
precipitation through 7 AM Wednesday.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Cedar River at Cedar Falls, or from the West Fork
  Cedar River to the Cedar Falls-Waterloo city limits.

* WHEN...Until Monday, July 08.

* IMPACTS...At 89.7 feet, Water affects the road at 1712 and 1118
  Cottage Row Rd.
  At 91.2 feet, Water affects portions of Lake St.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 88.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady through
    Tuesday afternoon, then rise above flood stage by Wednesday
    evening. The river is expected to crest at 91.5 feet Friday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 89.0 feet.

SUNDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Shell Rock River at Shell Rock, or from Flood Creek
  near Clarksville to the Cedar River.

* WHEN...From Wednesday morning to early Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 12.5 feet, Seepage occurs in several basements close
  to the river.
  At 13.0 feet, Part of S Lake St is closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 11.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late Wednesday morning to a crest of 12.9 feet Thursday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
