...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Cedar River at Cedar Falls affecting Black Hawk County.

  Winnebago River at Mason City affecting Worth, Floyd and Cerro
  Gordo Counties.

  Shell Rock River at Shell Rock affecting Butler, Bremer and Black
  Hawk Counties.

  Des Moines River near Stratford affecting Hamilton, Boone and
  Webster Counties.

  East Fork Des Moines River near Algona affecting Humboldt and
  Kossuth Counties.

  Des Moines River at Fort Dodge affecting Webster County.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt affecting Humboldt County.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Emmetsburg affecting Palo Alto and
  Pocahontas Counties.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Estherville affecting Emmet County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

For the latest river and stream observations and forecasts refer to
weather.gov/desmoines/water.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

River forecasts include observed precipitation plus forecast
precipitation over the next 24 hours.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Cedar River at Cedar Falls, or from the West Fork
  Cedar River to the Cedar Falls-Waterloo city limits.

* WHEN...Until early Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 92.2 feet, Water affects the southeast corner of
  Gateway Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 88.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow evening to a crest of 92.0 feet early Friday
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday
    afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 89.0 feet.

  Fraser.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 18.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.0
    feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage
    Thursday morning.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Water threatens US 169 south of Algona and
  affects some rural roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 16.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.0
    feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage early Thursday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 12.5 feet, Seepage occurs in several basements close
  to the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 11.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow morning to a crest of 12.6 feet Thursday morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Widespread flooding occurs at city parks.
  Water reaches the underside of the 12th St NE bridge at the piers.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 9.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.0
    feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage tomorrow evening.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to slowly fall.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

  businesses along US 18 on the west side of town in and near the
  flood plain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 13.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to slowly fall.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

    above minor flood stage through the week and weekend.
  - Flood stage is 10.5 feet.
