...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL AROOSTOOK COUNTY
THROUGH 245 PM EDT...

At 212 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 13 miles east of Easton to near Dudley
Township. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Houlton, Mars Hill, Easton, Bridgewater, Smyrna, Dudley Township,
Littleton, Monticello, Blaine, Westfield, Ludlow, Dudley, Webbertown,
Number Nine Mountain, and Saint Croix.

This includes US Highway 1 between Littleton and Mars Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
northern Maine.
