...GUSTY SHOWERS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN PISCATAQUIS...EAST CENTRAL
AROOSTOOK AND NORTH CENTRAL PENOBSCOT COUNTIES THROUGH 130 PM EDT...

At 1247 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line
extending from 14 miles southwest of Big Machias Lake to Churchill
Dam. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Presque Isle, Mapleton, Ashland, Masardis, Oxbow, Russel Crossing,
Churchill Dam, Scopan, Moosehorn Crossing, Nashville Plantation,
Chapman, Castle Hill, Scopan Mountain, and Garfield.

This includes the following highways...
 US Highway 1 near Presque Isle.
 State Highway 11 between Masardis and Ashland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
