...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of north central
Lexington and west central Richland Counties through 600 PM EDT...

At 517 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Highway 6 at Lake Murray Dam, moving east at 5 mph.

...Boaters on Lake Murray Should Seek Safe Harbor...

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lexington, West Columbia, Irmo, Highway 6 at Lake Murray Dam, St.
Andrews, Ballentine, Pine Island, Seven Oaks, Lake Murray Marina, and
Bundrick Island.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 61 and 63.
 Interstate 26 between mile markers 99 and 106, and near mile marker
109.
