...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN WHEATLAND AND
NORTHWESTERN GOLDEN VALLEY COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM MDT...

At 549 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Deadmans Basin Reservoir, or 15 miles southeast of Harlowton, moving
northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Deadmans Basin Reservoir, Franklin, and Shawmut.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
central Montana.
