Scattered afternoon & evening showers/thunderstorms are expected both today and Saturday, as our region remains under a NW flow aloft w/ embedded weak disturbances. Temps will remain slightly cooler than normal, with seasonably high RHs, the next two days. The chance of showers will decrease Sunday. We anticipate warmer and drier conditions emerging next week as strong high pressure builds over the northern Rockies. Look for steadily climbing temps, with near 90 degrees Tuesday and triple digit heat a possibility by next Thursday.
