...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN ELBERT COUNTY THROUGH
630 PM MDT...

At 542 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles west of Agate to 4 miles southwest of
Elbert, or along a line extending from 25 miles northwest of Limon to
22 miles northeast of Colorado Springs. Movement was southeast at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Elbert, Kiowa, and Agate.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
