...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL OWYHEE COUNTY THROUGH 515
PM MDT...

At 436 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Battle Creek Ranch, or 42 miles north of Owyhee,
moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hot Spring, Frying Pan Spring, Crab Spring Butte, Chalk Hills, Battle
Creek Ranch, Dollar Butte, The Hat, and Big Horse Basin Gap.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
