.DISCUSSION...
Have increased the chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and
evening, especially in much of Vale BLM. Thunderstorms are now
expected to form farther west compared to yesterday. Scattered
thunderstorms are forecast from the Owyhees into the Southern
Highlands, while only isolated storms are forecast for the
mountain NFs. Wind gusts to 40 mph and small hail are possible
with storms. Outside of storms, winds will be gusty today,
especially in the Western Magic Valley (20-30 mph). Winds and low
RH may become an issue Wed/Thu in the Western Magic Valley as we
begin to heat up. Very hot temps are forecast from Saturday into
next week.
