...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT KIDDER...SOUTHEASTERN BURLEIGH...
NORTHWESTERN LOGAN AND NORTHERN EMMONS COUNTIES THROUGH 700 PM CDT...

At 613 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles southwest of Robinson to 5 miles south
of Lake Isabel to 7 miles southwest of Napoleon. Movement was
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Linton, Napoleon, Steele, Hazelton, Tappen, Sterling, Pettibone,
Dawson, Robinson, Braddock, Lake Isabel, Driscoll, Crystal Springs,
Lake Williams, Temvik, Kintyre, Moffit, Streeter Memorial, and
Horsehead Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
south central and southeastern North Dakota.
