...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MCLEAN AND
NORTHEASTERN MERCER COUNTIES THROUGH 315 AM CDT...

At 245 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Pick City, or 11 miles southwest of Garrison,
moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Garrison, Riverdale, Pick City, Coleharbor, Hazen Bay Recreation
Area, Fort Stevenson State Park, Emmet, and Lake Sakakawea State
Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
