NORTHWESTERN MCINTOSH...EMMONS AND SOUTHWESTERN STUTSMAN COUNTIES
THROUGH 615 PM CDT...

At 544 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles south of Steele to 13 miles southwest
of Napoleon to near Hague. Movement was northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Linton, Wishek, Napoleon, Steele, Strasburg, Hazelton, Tappen,
Streeter, Hague, Dawson, Westfield, Cannon Ball, Braddock, Prairie
Knights Resort, Lake Isabel, Crystal Springs, Chase Lake, Temvik,
Kintyre, and Hazelton Recreation Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
south central and southeastern North Dakota.
