Minnesota...Wisconsin... Mississippi River at Lansing affecting Allamakee, Houston, Vernon and Crawford Counties. Mississippi River at Lake City affecting Pepin, Wabasha and Goodhue Counties. Mississippi River at Guttenberg Dam 10 affecting Clayton and Grant Counties. Mississippi River at La Crosse affecting Houston, La Crosse and Vernon Counties. Mississippi River at McGregor affecting Allamakee, Clayton, Grant and Crawford Counties. Mississippi River at Winona affecting Winona, Trempealeau and Buffalo Counties. Mississippi River at Wabasha affecting Buffalo and Wabasha Counties. .Mississippi River forecasts issued this morning include the next 48 hours of forecast rainfall, through 7 AM on Wednesday, July 3rd. These forecasts also include the routing of upstream water into the Mississippi from the Mississippi River tributaries. Differences in this mornings forecast stem from roughly 1 to 3 plus inches of rain falling across southeast Minnesota, northeast Iowa, and southwest Wisconsin which will route into the Mississippi through the Root, Upper Iowa, and Wisconsin Rivers. The biggest river forecast increases are from Genoa downstream through Guttenberg and south. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
