...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN ARMSTRONG...NORTHEASTERN
RANDALL AND SOUTHEASTERN POTTER COUNTIES THROUGH 830 PM CDT...

At 757 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Mescalero Park, or 6 miles southwest of Amarillo, moving east at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Amarillo, Canyon, Lake Tanglewood, Mescalero Park, and Timbercreek
Canyon.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 27 between mile markers 110 and 123.
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 60 and 81.
