Mostly cloudy skies with breezy east to southeasterly winds will
prevail through the forecast period. The potential for isolated
showers will increase beginning late this evening as a frontal
system approaches the Alaska Peninsula from the southwest tonight
then stalls well west of the forecast area. Gusty winds this
afternoon and evening are expected to diminish overnight before
increasing again Sunday afternoon and evening through mountain
gaps and passes as the pressure gradient between the front and a
ridge retreating to north increases. The extensive cloud cover
should act to keep temperatures cool with elevated RH values.
