...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM AKDT THURSDAY FOR THE
NORTHERN KUSKOKWIM BAY COAST...

* LOCATION...Northern Kuskokwim Bay coast, especially the
  communities of Kwigillingok and Kongiganak.

* WAVES AND SURF...Water levels are expected to rise during high
  tide, to 3 to 6 feet above the normal highest tide line.

* TIMING...Through early Thursday morning, with waves and surf
  peaking this afternoon during high tide.

* IMPACTS...High surf may inundate or move property along the
  shoreline. Localized beach erosion is possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A front with gale force southeasterly winds
  and gusts to 50 mph along the Southwest Alaska coast this
  afternoon will produce high surf along the Kuskokwim Bay coast.
  Highest surf conditions should occur this afternoon and slowly
  subside as the front weakens this evening and overnight. Winds
  will also start to come down this evening and overnight as well.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Residents along the coast should move property inland or to
higher ground, and monitor conditions along the coast for
