The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  The east central City of Chesapeake in southeastern Virginia...
  The central City of Virginia Beach in southeastern Virginia...

* Until 545 PM EDT.

* At 456 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 8 miles east of Kempsville to near Princess Anne to
  Fentress, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near...
  Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Princess Anne around 500 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Rudee
Heights, Mount Pleasant, Princess Anne Plaza, Sigma, Sandbridge
Beach, Oceana NAS, Macons Corner, Pungo, Oceana, and North Virginia
Beach.
