.DISCUSSION...
Slightly cooler conditions expected at the fire site today with
the approaching front. Moderate west winds will dominate early and
shift west/southwesterly around midnight. Good overnight RH
recovery expected.

With the passage of the front Tuesday morning, winds will be out
of the southeast with gusts upwards to 30 mph at times.
Precipitation will begin around 7 AM AKDT and persist throughout
the day creating a good chance of wetting rain for the fire site.
Much cooler temperatures are expected as well with the maximum
around 60 degrees. No thunderstorms are expected with the passage
of this front

Scattered precipitation will remain in place through the weekend,
creating more opportunities for wetting rain. Temperatures will
remain cool with the max in the in the low 60s. Winds will weaken
around the fire site sometime Wednesday morning and remain out of
the southwest, transitioning to southerly by Thursday morning.
