At 505 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Okobojo Point Rec Area, or 18 miles north of Fort Pierre, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Cow Creek Rec Area, Okobojo Point Rec Area, and Sully Lake. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
