...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL CIBOLA AND SOUTHWESTERN
MCKINLEY COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM MDT...

At 600 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Pine Hill, or 26 miles east of Zuni Pueblo, moving north at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Grants, Zuni Pueblo, Thoreau, Milan, Vanderwagen, Bluewater Lake
State Park, El Morro, Bluewater Lake, Coolidge, and Black Rock.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce
visibilities below one half mile at times.
