...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN ROOSEVELT...NORTHERN
DE BACA...SOUTHWESTERN QUAY AND WEST CENTRAL CURRY COUNTIES THROUGH
430 PM MDT...

At 403 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles west of House to near Yeso. Movement
was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Sumner, House, Tolar, Yeso, and Taiban.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Frequent dangerous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these
storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek
a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
