...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN VALENCIA...NORTHEASTERN
SOCORRO AND WEST CENTRAL TORRANCE COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM MDT...

At 715 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles southeast of Casa Colorada, or 14 miles southeast of Belen,
moving north at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Los Lunas, Belen, Valencia, Bosque Farms, Rio Communities North,
Veguita, Manzano, El Cerro Mission, Jarales, and Los
Trujillos-Gabaldon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
