.DISCUSSION...
Southeast winds this evening will turn east/northeast as greater
moisture moves back into the area. An area of showers and storms
with locally heavy rainfall is expected to develop near Las Vegas
after midnight then shift slowly east/southeast away from the area
before sunrise. Low clouds are likely with perhaps some drizzle and
patchy fog Friday morning. Another round of thunderstorms will try
to develop over the Sangre de Cristo Mountains Friday afternoon then
move southeast across the area in the afternoon. Locally heavy
rainfall and gusty winds are possible. Drier air will attempt to
filter into the area Saturday however some storms are still possible
if higher moisture lingers over the area.
