More Heavy Snow for the Northern Cascades; Heavy Rain Moving into the South-Central U.S.

Another Pacific storm will move across the Northwest Sunday and Monday with heavy snow forecast over the northern Cascades. A storm bringing snow to the Four Corners states Sunday will also shift heavy rain and some thunderstorms into the south-central U.S. and mid-Mississippi River Valley into Monday.

Sun Night: NW winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts to 30 kt in the evening, becoming 15 to 20 kt. Combined seas 9 to 12 ft dominant period 15 seconds, subsiding to 7 to 9 ft dominant period 14 seconds after midnight.

Mon: NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less. NW swell 6 to 8 ft at 14 seconds.

Mon Night: NW winds 15 to 20 kt in the evening, becoming N 5 to 10 kt. Wind waves 1 to 3 ft. NW swell 7 to 9 ft at 14 seconds.
