A few strong to marginally severe thunderstorms are possible across the Southeast U.S. Friday. A Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) outlook has been issued. Strong winds and hail will be the main threats. Elevated to locally critical fire weather conditions will persist across south-central Colorado today due to dry conditions and gusty winds.

Tonight: W winds 5 to 10 knots. Wind waves 2 to 3 ft. Mixed swell NW 2 to 3 ft at 9 seconds and S 2 to 3 ft at 15 seconds. Patchy dense fog.

Fri: W winds 10 to 15 knots. Wind waves 2 to 3 ft. Mixed swell NW around 2 ft at 9 seconds and S 2 to 3 ft at 15 seconds. Patchy dense fog.

Fri Night: NW winds 10 to 15 knots. Wind waves 3 to 4 ft. Mixed swell NW around 2 ft at 12 seconds and S 2 to 3 ft at 18 seconds. Patchy drizzle.

Sat: NW winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Wind waves 4 to 5 ft. Swell S around 2 ft at 17 seconds.
