Potential Tropical Cyclone 16 is forecast to intensify on Friday before making landfall over the Florida Panhandle Friday night into Saturday. Tropical storm force winds, storm surge flooding, heavy rainfall, and dangerous rip currents are expected. The system will then track northeast and bring heavy rainfall and gusty winds from Georgia through the Carolinas over the weekend.
