Typhoon Bualoi is moving northwest and away from CNMI, but heavy rain and gusty winds will continue today. A cold front moves into the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic with potential for severe storms with damaging winds and brief tornadoes. Out West, a new storm will bring mountain snow and strong winds, which will increase fire weather threats for portions of California through Friday.
