Heavy Mountain Snow and High Winds Shifts into the Intermountain West and Plains

A storm system will move bring heavy mountain snow and high winds to the Intermountain West and the Plains. Locally heavy rain from a nearly stalled front on the southern California coastline could cause flash flooding. A new storm will drop south along the West Coast and is expected to bring additional heavy mountain snow, especially, in California.

Saturday Night: West winds 15 to 25 knots diminishing to 10 to 15 knots. A chance of rain and snow showers in the evening. Waves 6 to 9 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet.
