Heavy Rainfall Threat Continues for the Southeastern U.S.; Elevated Fire Weather Concerns in the High Plains
Though the remnants of Francine have stalled across the Mid-South, a tropical air mass remains in place across portions of the southeast. Additional chances for heavy to excessive rainfall and a threat for flash flooding will be possible for Alabama and western Georgia through Sunday.
