Scattered severe storms capable of producing large hail and damaging winds are expected from Montana, the Dakotas, and into northwestern Montana; and in the South and Central High Plains. Heavy rain may produce flash flooding in portions of the Plains, especially, the North Plains; Mississippi Valley; Appalachians; and Deep South. Fire weather threats are Elevated for portions of Nevada.

Sun: SW winds around 5 kt, becoming S 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less, then around 3 ft in the afternoon. Swell mainly from the SE with a dominant period of 9 seconds.
