


Unsettled in the South; Pacific Storm on the West Coast
Showers and a few strong to severe thunderstorms associated with a system in southeastern Texas. A strong and cold Pacific storm will produce heavy rain and heavy mountain snow, and strong, gusty winds for parts of the West coast. Gusty winds ahead of this system may produce critical fire weather threats in the North and Central Plains this weekend. Lake effect snows persist in the Northeast.

Synopsis: An mid to upper level low over the Central United States will move
southeast and through the Florida Peninsula on Saturday. This
will allow for showers and even some thunderstorms to affect the
local waters of South Florida. The low will then move east into
the Atlantic waters late this weekend into early next week, as
high pressure builds into the Western Atlantic waters. There is
also a northeast swell affecting the Atlantic waters late this
weekend into early next week. This will allow for hazardous
marine conditions to set up over the Atlantic waters during this
time dominant period. The Gulf waters will also see hazardous
marine conditions late this weekend.
.GULF STREAM HAZARDS...Seas will be building to 7 to 10 feet late this weekend into early next week.
