Showers and thunderstorms forming along a stalled front may produce isolated strong to severe thunderstorms and heavy rain that could cause flooding in the Central Gulf. A late season winter storm will continue producing hazardous travel in the Central Rockies and into the High Plains. A coastal storm is bringing wintry conditions and gusty winds to parts of the Northeast.

Synopsis: A weak cold front will cross our local waters later today. This
front will stall over central Florida tonight as weak low
pressure develops over the lower Mississippi Valley and moves
eastward. This low pressure center will cross southern Georgia on
Saturday and will move offshore on Saturday night, with a weak
frontal boundary then lingering over the northeast Florida waters
through the middle portion of next week as waves of low pressure
develop over the northeast Gulf of Mexico and move across north
central Florida. Waves of showers and thunderstorms will impact
the waters from this weekend through Tuesday. A stronger cold
front is then expected to sweep across our area on Wednesday.
