This rainfall may produce flash flooding and debris flows, especially near recent burn scar areas. Broad high pressure situated over the Great Lakes region and low pressure near the Canadian Maritimes supports a broad offshore flow, turning variable to onshore with sea breezes this weekend. High pressure will build across the waters early in the coming work week, setting up more of an onshore flow regime with low pressure taking shape over the Mid- Atlantic region. This low tracks north to our area by the middle of the week, brining potential for showers and fog along with more active seas. $$
