Tranquil Stretch of Weather

A tranquil stretch of weather is likely this week for a large portion of the U.S. However, there are a few hazards the next few days. Elevated and locally critical fire weather concerns are likely for southern California. Locally heavy rainfall is possible across parts of Washington on Tuesday. A powerful storm will impact parts of Alaska with rain, snow and gusty winds the next several days.
