A sharp cold front will sweep through the Eastern U.S. today with widespread rain showers, a few thunderstorms in the Southeast, and gusty to high winds in the Great Lakes. Another storm will move into the West Coast today into Sunday with low elevation rain and another round of heavy mountain snow for the Sierras.
