Soggy conditions in the Mid-Atlantic and parts of the Northeast continue due to a coastal low in the Mid-Atlantic. A low pressure system in the Southwest will produce showers and thunderstorms with locally heavy rain and the potential for flash flooding. A powerful storm will sweep across western and northern Alaska with high winds and coastal impacts.
