Synopsis: A gale force low is transiting the Gulf of Alaska Thursday
afternoon, with northeasterly outflow winds increasing along
major bays and inlets. Winds and seas diminish briefly Friday
before a Storm Force system lifts into the gulf, driving
southeasterly storm force winds along the northern coast, with
strong gales to gale force for the remainder of the coast. Seas
of 20 to 25 ft are forecasted for the northern coast Saturday
into Sunday.
