Synopsis: A weakening ridge of high pressure weakens tonight over the
southern Alaska Panhandle, and to the north a stationary front
lingers over the northeastern Gulf of Alaska. A more organized and
somewhat stronger area of low pressure moves up from the northern
Pacific on Friday, bringing increased winds to the central and
southern Inner Channels of southeast Alaska Friday and through the
weekend.
