Showers and Thunderstorms Continue for the Plains; Keeping a Close Eye on the Tropics

Persistent pattern of showers, thunderstorms and heavy rainfall will continue across many locations of the Plains and Rockies through the weekend. For the Gulf of Mexico, most of Florida and the Keys, tropical moisture will bring additional heavy rainfall across the region this weekend. Warming temperatures with a few new records possible for the Midwest and Ohio Valley through Saturday.
