IMPORTANT NOTICE TO MARINERS...MARINE FORECASTS ARE ISSUED AT LEAST FOUR TIMES A DAY. BOATERS ON EXTENDED TRIPS SHOULD ROUTINELY MONITOR SUBSEQUENT FORECAST ISSUANCES AND UPDATES FOR THE LATEST MARINE WEATHER INFORMATION. THE WAVE HEIGHTS ARE FORECAST AS SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT WHICH IS THE AVERAGE OF THE HIGHEST ONE-THIRD OF THE WAVES. THE HIGHEST WAVES MAY RARELY BE TWICE THE SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT. THE WINDS AND SEAS NEAR THUNDERSTORMS MAY BE HIGHER THAN FORECAST.

Synopsis...HIGH PRESSURE NORTH OF THE WATERS WILL SLOWLY SINK SOUTH INTO THE REGION THROUGH THE FIRST HALF OF THE WEEK. A TIGHT PRESSURE GRADIENT ALONG THE SOUTHERN EDGE OF THIS HIGH PRESSURE WILL KEEP WINDS AT CAUTIONARY LEVELS OFFSHORE THROUGH EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. ANOTHER EASTERLY SURGE TONIGHT COULD BRIEFLY BRING WINDS BACK UP TO CAUTIONARY LEVELS. BY MID TO LATE WEEK...HIGH PRESSURE WILL GRADUALLY BUILD IN OVER THE WATERS...WITH IMPROVING WINDS AND SEAS.

This Afternoon...East winds 15 to 20 knots then becoming northeast 10 to 15 knots late in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Tonight...Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots then becoming east around 20 knots after midnight. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Isolated thunderstorms in the evening.

Tuesday...East winds around 15 knots then becoming northeast 5 to 10 knots late in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Tuesday Night...Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots then becoming east around 15 knots in the late evening and overnight. Seas 2 feet. Isolated thunderstorms.

Wednesday...East winds around 15 knots diminishing to 5 to 10 knots early in the afternoon...then becoming northeast late in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Isolated thunderstorms in the morning.

Wednesday Night...Northeast winds around 10 knots then becoming east after midnight. Seas 2 feet. Isolated thunderstorms.

Thursday...Southeast winds around 5 knots then becoming northeast around 5 knots in the afternoon. Seas 2 feet or less. Isolated thunderstorms.

Thursday Night...North winds around 5 knots then becoming south after midnight. Seas 2 feet or less. Isolated thunderstorms.

Friday...North winds around 5 knots. Seas 2 feet or less. Isolated thunderstorms in the morning.
