Significant Winter Storm to Continue Widespread Hazardous Weather Across the East

A strengthening eastern storm will bring areas of heavy snow and ice from the Midwest to the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Wednesday before tapering off on Thursday. Further south, several inches of heavy rain are forecast Wednesday into this weekend. This may lead to river flooding and flash flooding across the Mid-South.
