Powerhouse Storm Set for West; Severe Weather Threat the Next Several Days

The most significant of the recent Pacific storms to reach the West Coast will arrive this weekend, mainly Sunday into Monday. A number of hazards are expected, especially the heavy rain threat on Sunday across northern and central California that may result in flooding and debris flows near burn scars. These Pacific storms will produce severe weather the next several days east of the Rockies.
