Heavy rain, gusty winds, storm surge, high surf and rip currents that could be life threatening, will impact the Mid-Atlantic through this weekend. Meanwhile, strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to affect portions of the central U.S. including heavy to excessive rainfall through this weekend.
