Clusters of showers and strong to severe thunderstorms are expected across portions of the southern Plains today, then tracking into the Lower Mississippi Valley. The greatest hazards today will be from large hail and damaging wind gusts. Elsewhere, excessive rainfall and flooding concerns across portions of the Plains and Midwest today.
